Trainee Customer Sales and Support Assistant (Peterborough) – Ref 5486

Salary: £12,145 – £15,444 pro rata
Hours: 36 per week
Location: Peterborough

Do you have a good telephone manner?

Are you able to demonstrate and sell products suitable for blind and partially sighted people?

If your answer is YES then we would like to hear from you. We are looking for a person to work in our busy Technology Information and Support team in Peterborough. You will learn all aspects of technology sales and support operation and be involved with the promotion of a range of access technology products for blind and partially sighted people, digital television and radio, E-Book readers and other RNIB services.

You will need good communication skills, the ability to organise and find information and the potential to work with limited supervision.

This post is part of the RNIB Trainee Grade Scheme (TGS) that aims to provide unemployed blind and partially sighted people with paid work experience and support to progress on to permanent employment.
To be eligible for this post, you need to be unemployed and blind or partially sighted. Previous trainees and ex RNIB staff need not apply
